我們提供C波段和L波段的保偏摻鉺光纖放大器(PM EDFA)。但目前在O波段尚無保偏光纖放大器(PM PDFA),在S波段也尚無保偏摻銩光纖放大器(PM TDFA)。這些保偏光纖放大器確實包含在我們的產品路線圖中,我們將在專案有進展時提供更新資訊。

We offer PM EDFA in the C- and L-bands. However currently there is no PM PDFA in the O-band, nor PM TDFA in the S-band. These PM amplifiers are certainly on our product roadmap, and we will give an update when the project progresses.

It depends on the wavelength and pulse properties of your interest. In order to investigate the feasibility, we need the following information: (1) wavelength, (2) average power, (3) repetition rate, (4) pulse duration, and (5) peak power. Please ask us via sales@forter.com.tw with these five pieces of information.

Each of the three packages have their own suitable areas. Bench Top models are generally useful for experiments and R&D. The instruments can be easily operated by the front panel, and most of our bench top instruments allows you to externally control the device via, e.g., RS-232C and GP-IB. Rack Mountable models are suited for deployment in actual networks. The chassis well fits in the standard EIA rack, allowing easy installation. OEM module type are suited for OEM integration into your own instruments.

ASE 和 SLD的主要區別在於:
(1) 輸出功率
(2) 光譜寬度
(3) 波長彈性
(4) 偏振度 (DOP)
一般來說,光纖ASE光源的輸出功率大於光纖耦合SLD,但SLD具有更寬的光譜寬度和波長彈性。
光纖 ASE 光源有一個關鍵優勢,就是它的偏振度本質上就很小 (<5%),因此若您的應用需要低DOP值,建議使用光纖 ASE 光源。

The main differences are in: (1) output power, (2), spectral width, (3) wavelength flexibility, and (4) degree of polarization (DOP).
In general, output power of fiber ASE sources is bigger than fiber-coupled SLDs, but SLD has a wider spectral width and wavelength flexibility. One critical advantage of fiber ASE sources is that the degree of polarization is inherently small (<5%), so fiber ASE sources are recommended if you need a low DOP value for your application.
您可以透過在我們的光纖 ASE 源輸出端使用外部偏振片來獲得偏振 ASE的光源。ASE源的偏振度本身很低,因此在經過偏振片之後仍然可以獲得穩定的輸出功率和光譜。如果您想在儀器機殼中加入偏振片,根據您的要求,這種客製化當然是可行的。

You can get a polarized ASE light source simply by using an external polarizer at the output of our fiber ASE sources. The degree of polarization of ASE sources are inherently low, therefore you can still get stable output power and spectrum after the polarizer. If you would like to incorporate a polarizer in the instrument chassis, such customization is certainly possible upon request.
